Knee Deep Brewing out of Lincoln, CA has been producing some interesting and tasty beers and one of their latest is no exception. Simtra Triple India Pale Ale just arrived at the Fremont Bar and people are loving it. This beer is part of Knee Deeps’ MEPS program and this is the one and only case we will ever get.
” MEPS is Knee Deep’s Monthly Experimental Pilot Series program. Every month Knee Deep will be brewing a small, 15 bbl. brew of something crazy, different, something one of our fans contributed, or simply anything the brewmaster wants to brew.”
At 10.1% and 106 IBU’s Simtra may not be for everyone. With that said this Triple IPA brewed with Citra and Simcoe hops is surprisingly balanced and the alcohol well-hidden. A citrus and floral aroma yields to a piney, resinous, hop-forward flavor perfect for you hop-heads out there.
